BSJ's first Tea Dance, Bakewell Town Hall
A first for the band - a tea dance, jive-style - proved a worthwhile experiment. It was held at Bakewell Town Hall, Derbyshire, on 22 April 2018, and although not a sell-out pulled a very decent audience for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Tuition in jive and stroll was given by Heather Clements of Hop Frogs Dance School. Organiser Jude Brown was very happy, declared the event a great success and said it would certainly be repeated. Profits went to Oxfam. Photo by Jude Brown.

"Just want to say a big thank you for giving us such a good time yesterday. What a great sound you make, the Town Hall isn't the easiest place to get the sound right. The set list was just right, I know the experienced dancers who came just loved dancing to your music." - Jude Brown, Bakewell Day of Dance Co-ordinator
